Tiny Joys/GRAPH(feeties)/Wordling/Plankton Press
I'm a poet/cartoonist and make a mini zine Tiny Joys, a submission-based walking zine, GRAPH(feeties), and a one-off drawing-for-writers zine, Wordling. I grew up in California, but have been living in Arizona for over 25 years, teaching at ASU, writing, and drawing. I live with my family in Tempe. My book, By the Forces of Gravity, a cartoon/free verse memoir, came out this past June (launched at Wasted Ink Zine Distro!)
When I'm feeling low and overwhelmed, I make an issue of Tiny Joys, so I can (1) focus on things that bring me joy and (2) create a zine 100% designed to bring joy to all who read it. GRAPH(feeties) features hybrid art/writing and a love of walking. My book, By the Forces of Gravity, was created with love in mind. Set in 1970s Berkeley, it's a story of friendship, adventure and loss, done in cartoons and free verse poetry. I'll be bringing my 100-year-old Multigraph Press, so people can make their own postcards to send to people they love. It's a great machine and lots of fun to share.

Would love to return for this zine fest! Also I have a 9yr old daughter and I’m stoked to start a kids zine line in the near future !
My zines and perspectives don’t pretend to be anything but honest.. love to collaborate and trade zines ! Also pen pals welcome !
Orange Beanie Press
I am a skateboarder, artist, advocate and compassionate human, in no particular order. Almost resigned to calling the desert home after about a decade of habitation, I was raised across the country and around the world, making the hometown concept pretty foreign. I make two main titles, One Push and Over The Shoulder. One Push is a skate-centric cut-paste style zine with photos and other art inspired by my favorite thing. Over The Shoulder has no real guidelines, each has been themed differently and formatted freely. I will also be releasing my first book, Overheard At The Museum this year, a comedic look at the public looking at art.
I create some zines to chronicle specific times, trips, themes, or feelings. Some are strict and formal, some are aimed to be visual poetry. I am quite excited to have a table this year because I plan on releasing a book that I have been working on for more than a year. This is the perfect place to share with the community, since the community helped make it!

My name is Brandon, I am a local artist and I am from Goodyear Arizona. I make the Sketchfolo Zine it shows off my favourite sketchbook drawings that people normally wouldn't see!
Phx Zine Fest is a great opportunity to show, sell and connect with the community. I had a wonderful experience last year and I am lookong forward to an even better one thid year!
My name is Tianne Pitz, writer and speaker of a wild bunch of thoughts from my daily life that began at a young age. Cali born, raised by way of the Bay, tried out country living in Pennsylvania and crashed landed in Arizona. I have penned 4 Zines thus far. The first is The Melancholy Musings of a Misfit Girl which has handwritten poems, prose and doodles. The second is Love Is A (sometimes)Distorted Journey with handwritten poems, prose and bursts of positive affirmations. My third is a short horror story simply titled Creature. And the fourth is a short love story titled Unforseen Love. All Zines are from my personal experiences in this crazy journey that we call life.
I write from the heart. My Zines were initially created for taking others into a deeper part of my heart that most of the time is shielded by a seashell. My short stories are meant to invoke thought and haunt you on some level. I would look forward to tabling at the PHX Zine Fest 2018 so that I may share my words on a personal level with others. I would love to present more exciting Zines and a few art pieces for fun and see how far this amazing journey can go!
My name is Jon Garza and I am a Chicano artist and illustrator from Gilbert, Arizona. My zines are called: TACOS (1&2), RAP SPEAK, DAMN FINE, GET BIG. My zines have various themes but are filled with my own drawings, letterings, and comics. I like to draw things inspired by the Southwest, as well as themes relating to my Mexican American heritage. My TACOS zines are filled with illustrations and mini comics relating to Latino culture. My zine RAP SPEAK is filled with illustrative letterings and drawings of funny rap song lyrics. My DAMN FINE zine is a fan zine of drawings inspired by the TV Show Twin Peaks. My GET BIG zine has illustrations and mini comics themed on the weight lifting and body building culture.
I look forward to tabling at PHX zine fest 2018 because I had a really fun time last year meeting other artists who make zines, as well as meeting the community who support zine makers and independent artists as well. My zines are filled with my own drawings, illustrations, and comics and have a comedic take on the themes involved.
HUNYGRL is a collective putting the spotlight on femme and queer artists. Our first zine "Mirror" was released in May, and "Queer Playboy" is our next zine and currently in production.
We're excited to bring fresh content and a new audience to PHX Zine Fest this year. HUNYGRL's table will display zines created by the collective, as well as zines made by individual femme or queer artists in our community.
I'm Sheepishmike (aka Mike) and I am a psychedelic fantasy obsessed illustrator. I currently live with my dog Groucho in Chattanooga, Tennessee - the sweaty waistband of the bible belt - and make zines full of my illustrations. My current zines are Sluggestive Universe and Battle Rats. Sluggestive Universe is 30+ pages of scifi-magic slugs and the characters that use them to hop between dimensions. Battle Rats is a collection of illustrations of Sewer Knights - the righteous rat warriors destroying evil.
My zines are for those who like adventures into ambiguous worlds and I look forward to participating in PHX Zine Fest for the first time because I want to meet other creators and individuals interested in what creators have made in the past year. Making art is hard and I need more friends and Phoenix is a city I love traveling to and is home to a handful of amazing friends I don't get to see very often.
Leftover Press is from AZ, born and raised. Grew up in small towns, played in punk bands making zines and art stuffs. Zines made are Faces, Clouds and Trees & You and Me, The bums will always lose and will have a few more zines focused on writing/stories and b/w art.
PHX Zine fest has been great at introducing me to other fuck ups and their work (meant in the most flattering way possible!). Most zinesters I've met have grown up outcasts/outcasted, and these are perfect for showing each other there are others like us out there, even in our own small towns and cities. Small press/DIY or die!
Zoe "Zuzu Cartoons" N. Sugg hails from the deserts of Arizona and has been making comics for most of her life. She's the creator/editor-in-chief for the comic anthologies They Have Issues (featuring 18 female/non-binary creators working in comic book shops) and Screwing with You (a choose-your-own-adventure, erotic-horror anthology), both of which have a volume 2 in the works. In addition to these projects she runs the webcomic Re:Bomb! and puts out several other smaller projects on the side.
Many of the projects under the Zuzu Cartoons banner are collaborative, so finding fellow talented creators at events like the Phoenix Zine Fest can be extremely exciting! Connecting with people and potentially finding new people to work with is the best!
I'm Tori Holder. I'm from Los Angeles and make comix zines of various titles.
I love tabling at PHXZF! It is a great place to share zines with others. My zines are comix zines that focus on day to day experiences and the brilliant mundanities of life.
