The Early Bird PHX is a mobile beverage bar serving espresso-based coffees, cold brew, tea and lemonade. Our mission is to provide quality beverage options unlike those you'll find anywhere else. We use local Arizona ingredients wherever possible to reflect our commitment to the community.
The Closet Vegan is a food truck concept thought up by myself and my chef mother. After my father suffered a massive coronary and a subsequent diagnosis of inherited coronary artery disease, my mother began to prepare our meals with more thought the food we eat has on mine and my father’s overall health. Since my father diagnosis, my mother used her education and skills as a chef to create Plant-based cuisine that tasted and appeared much like the meat-based versions of her creations. Although we are not a health food truck, using plants, legumes and grains to make delicious and familiar dishes is better for everyone’s health.
The term “closet vegan” is defined in the urban dictionary as a person who has embraced the plant-based lifestyle, but has yet to admit it to family and friends based on being judged, so eats meat when offered. Although we are 100% vegan, we are not animal activists nor do we have a political agenda. We simply want to offer plant-based cuisine as just another food option. Our slogan remains, “You don’t have to be a vegan to eat plant-based cuisine.”
Waffle Crush serves Gourmet Belgium Liege Waffles in both Savory and Sweet varieties. You can enjoy a delicious Barnyard waffle sandwich with egg, cheese and choice of meat. For lunch it will be hard to choose from our Ham & Cheese, Turkey Pesto or Club waffle sandwiches. Is your sweet tooth calling: There are so many choices from our class "Berry" with Biscoff or Nutella, the "Nana" or just go for it and enjoy a "Brownie Explosion" or "Cookie Crush'r". Love ice cream? then enjoy a delicious "Get the Scoop" or "Turtle" waffles. No matter what you choose you cannot lose, they are all amazing and delicious. Enjoy!
